Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Systems Integrator to support critical operations within the intelligence and commercial sectors. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience integrating, securing, and optimizing complex systems within high-security environments. This role requires hands-on expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, risk assessment, system hardening, and compliance with IC and DoD security requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and integrate cybersecurity solutions for classified and commercial systems.
Ensure compliance with NIST RMF (800-37, 800-53), ICD 503, DoD STIGs, and other security frameworks.
Work closely with system engineers, developers, and analysts to implement security best practices.
Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and system hardening to mitigate risks.
Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures for accreditation and compliance.
Support incident response activities, forensic investigations, and security monitoring efforts.
Evaluate, deploy, and manage cybersecurity tools such as SIEMs, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
Collaborate with government and commercial stakeholders to align security strategies with operational needs.
Automate security processes using scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
Required Skills and Demonstrated Experience:
U.S. Citizenship required.
Active TS/SCI with FS Polygraph (required, no exceptions).
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, systems integration, or information assurance.
Strong knowledge of network security, cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and endpoint security.
Experience implementing Zero Trust Architecture, PKI, and Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions.
Familiarity with Linux/Windows security hardening, logging, and forensic tools.
Understanding of SIEM solutions (Splunk, Elastic Stack, ArcSight, etc.) and log analysis.
Strong technical writing skills for documentation and compliance reporting.
Preferred Qualifications & Certifications:
CISSP, CISM, CISA, CASP+, CEH, GSEC, or OSCP preferred.
Experience working with ICD 503 / Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation processes.
Knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc.).
Familiarity with cloud security best practices (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, etc.).
Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and security tasks.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Familiarity with INFOSEC principles, issues, and technology.
Knowledge of ICD 503 requirements for Information Systems.
Knowledge of life-cycle support in the areas of maintenance, administration, and management.
Experience Levels:
Full Performance: 3+ years of experience plus a bachelor’s degree.
Senior: 6+ years of experience plus a bachelor’s degree.
Expert: 11+ years of experience plus a bachelor’s degree.
Subject Matter Expert: 16+ years of experience plus a bachelor’s degree.
