Position Overview:

We are seeking a mission-focused Intelligence Operations/Collections Specialist to provide 24x7 monitoring, assessment, and operational support for critical national security systems. In this role, you will evaluate system performance, identify and respond to anomalous conditions, coordinate with external mission partners, and ensure timely resolution of system issues that impact real-time operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-tempo, secure environment, excels at multi-source coordination, and possesses strong analytical skills to support operational decision-making across complex intelligence systems.

Key Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for monitoring systems 24x7 for the status of resources, schedules, tasks, and activities that enable operational decision-making.

  • Ensure operational execution and response to non-nominal conditions, following approved operational procedures.

  • Evaluate and assess impacts of anomalous events; coordinate with external segments as needed, compile event data, and input findings into a centralized software tool while executing notification procedures.

  • Assess and evaluate the impact of planned/unplanned outages to customers per operational guidelines.

  • Track and coordinate outages, including identification, tracking, and reporting.

  • Monitor communications and database status updates from external segments regarding planned outages to minimize operational impacts and ensure customer awareness.

  • Develop and document procedural workarounds to achieve full or partial restoration of operational capability in accordance with pre-coordinated and approved procedures.

  • Provide 24x7 mission support to system users via phone, email, outage management tools, and other specialized software.

  • Log customer-reported problems and track them through resolution.

  • Document mission-related communications with appropriate teams.

  • Gather customer/user feedback and identify opportunities for service improvement.

Required Skills and Demonstrated Experience:

  • U.S. Citizenship required.

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph (required, no exceptions).

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Proficiency in web development languages and frameworks such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, or React.

  • Experience with back-end technologies like Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails, or similar.

  • Familiarity with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

  • Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Ability to work in a high-stakes, secure environment adhering to strict security protocols.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills for interfacing with team members and external mission segments.

  • Certifications that enhance credibility for this role:

    • Certified Web Developer

Experience Levels:

  • Full Performance: 3+ years of experience plus a bachelor’s degree.

  • Senior: 6+ years of experience plus a bachelor’s degree.

  • Expert: 11+ years of experience plus a bachelor’s degree.

  • Subject Matter Expert: 16+ years of experience plus a bachelor’s degree.
