Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project/Systems Integrator to lead technical system integration efforts and manage cross-functional IT projects in support of classified intelligence operations. This role requires technical expertise, project management experience, and a deep understanding of system architecture, cybersecurity, and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless integration of IT infrastructure, applications, and mission-critical technologies across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage complex IT integration projects across classified and secure environments.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, cybersecurity, cloud architects, and program leadership to drive system integration initiatives.

  • Oversee the planning, design, testing, deployment, and optimization of IT systems.

  • Ensure compliance with IC, DoD, and federal cybersecurity standards, including RMF, NIST 800-53, and STIGs.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, requirements, and system specifications.

  • Evaluate and implement cloud, hybrid, and on-premise IT solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Manage system migrations, software upgrades, and technology refreshes while minimizing operational disruptions.

  • Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident response for system integration challenges.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure seamless interoperability between various mission-critical systems, including data analytics platforms, cybersecurity tools, enterprise applications, and cloud services.

  • Identify and integrate automation and orchestration solutions to streamline IT operations.

  • Monitor system performance, security compliance, and scalability for long-term success.

  • The Project/System Integrator shall also:

    • Facilitate and participate in meetings and information sessions; coordinate project schedules; create/distribute minutes and action items; trace action items for successful completion.

    • Assist in assessing, documenting, and tracking new program requirements and follow-on technical exchange meetings (TEMs).

    • Maintain files, records, files for reports, documentation, operating procedures, internal memorandums, and compose correspondence.

    • Support tasks that require the collecting, compiling, evaluating and publishing of information and statistical data in documents, records, forms, reports, plans, policies, and regulations.

    • Support the project manager as required; assist in the preparation of management plans and reports.

    • Compose technical documents including user’s manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports.

    • Edit functional descriptions, system specifications, user’s manuals, special reports, or any other customer deliverables and documents.

    • Plan and coordinate program management process activities such as Program Reviews and Control Gate Reviews including scheduling of meetings and preparation of briefings/presentations.

    • Provide documentation, requirements, and information updates.

    • Provide support such as technical writing and technical editing, integration of various sources into a cohesive product; preparation of graphical and narrative presentation material.

Required Skills and Demonstrated Experience:

  • U.S. Citizenship required.

  • Active TS/SCI with FS Polygraph (required, no exceptions).

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 7+ years of experience in IT systems integration, program management, or enterprise IT architecture.

  • Hands-on experience with enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and networking protocols.

  • Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles, cybersecurity frameworks, and IT governance models.

  • Experience in cross-domain IT environments, secure networks, and government IT compliance standards.

  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or PMP-based frameworks).

  • Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins), and software integration.

  • Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to leadership, engineers, and mission stakeholders.

  • Experience with requirements gathering, risk assessment, and lifecycle management.

Preferred Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Experience supporting DoD, NSA, CIA, DIA, NGA, or other IC agencies.

  • Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), Identity & Access Management (IAM), and cybersecurity best practices.

  • Experience with hybrid cloud implementations, Kubernetes, micro-services, and containerized environments.

  • Understanding of ITIL frameworks and enterprise service management (ESM) tools.

  • Certifications that enhance credibility for this role:

    • Project Management Professional (PMP)

    • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Agile Certification

    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect

    • Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert

    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

    • CompTIA Security+ or Network+

    • ITIL Foundation Certification

Experience Levels:

  • Full Performance: 3+ years of experience plus a bachelor’s degree.

  • Senior: 6+ years of experience plus a bachelor’s degree.

  • Expert: 11+ years of experience plus a bachelor’s degree.

  • Subject Matter Expert: 16+ years of experience plus a bachelor’s degree.
